Dr Qadri has officially called for an immediate emergency response and humanitarian assistance and said: “The response to the situation has been too small to even begin to effectively address the needs of those displaced. The most urgent priority is to ensure that safe water as well as medicines are available, food supplies are provided and accelerate the delivery of desperately needed aid. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to visit Jinnah hospital after leaving Lahore airport

Large number of PAT activists present within the premises of Lahore airport expressed happiness over their leader’s arrival, whereas, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri would leave for his home under private security. Qadri will visit injured activists of his political party under treatment in Jinnah hospital in Lahore under strict security measures before reaching home. According to reports, Qadri initially demanded security circle around him comprising of military personnel, however, further agreed to leave airport with private guards after rejecting government’s security. read more...

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has extended full support to Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he declared Operation Zarb-e-Azb as Jihad against terrorism. He announced that Pakistan Awami Tehreek would hold rallies every Friday to express solidarity with Pakistan Army. Awami Tehreek Gojra, Hafizabad leaders arrested

The City Police have arrested Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Hafizabad Vice President Haji Mukhtar Ahmad and workers Nouman Ahmad, Muhammad Afzal, Mushtaq Ansari, Anwar-ul-Haq and Atif Sultan on the charge of allegedly pelting stone on the police, resulting in injuries to four cops about four days ago. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) General Secretary Khurram Nawaz Gandapur on Sunday alleged that the government has arrested his party activists to prevent them from welcoming their leader Dr Tahirul Qadri at Islamabad airport.
