Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, has said that elections in Pakistan are the means to perpetuate the reign of corruption and establishment of dynastic politics. Pakistan League of America has conferred the Quaid-e-Azam Medal on PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in a prestigious ceremony held in New York today. The event was attended by thousands of Pakistanis. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that terrorism and Mullahism were against the vision of Pakistan’s founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said the rulers of Pakistan do not work towards the resolution of public problems; hence, they in themselves become the root-cause of dictatorship, adding the two large parties in government and the opposition are corrupt and do not want to delegate powers to anyone else. LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has announced countrywide protest rallies from December 29 onwards against skyrocketing prices.
