Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it is the first impartial JIT formed in the wake of Model Town tragedy that questioned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, visited the crime scene and conducted the forensic tests of the bullets and arms used during the police brutality. PAT Lahore arranged a special ceremony by the name of “Pakistan Day and our responsibilities” to mark the 23rd March. Pakistan Awami Tehreek has strongly condemned cross border violation by Indian Air Force planes and called on Government to raise this issue at diplomatic level. In his statement, Secretary General Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said violations of borders by Indian Air force is an act of aggression, which is condemnable.
