The Muslim Youth League UK – Sisters held their first ever promotional stand at the Sheridan Suite in Manchester on the 30th of August 2008. This was the venue for the conference delivered by Shayk-ul-Islam titled: Shariah: Clarity Amidst Confusion. This spiritual gathering for the month of September was held on Friday instead of usual Thursday due to the holy month of Ramdhan. On August 9, 2008, a new website of Minhaj-ul-Quran Publications was launched, which contains the books and speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for online purchase. In addition to the facility of credit card for online purchase, the Pakistani buyers have also been facilitated through provision of money order, bank account and VP parcel with the help of which the buyers can buy books and speeches at their homes. read more...

Doara Sahih Muslim & Bukhari got under way on August 23, 2008 in the central mosque Ghamkole Shareef, Birmingham, under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. A large number of people including scholars from Pakistan, Bangladesh, France, Norway, Canada and Syria participated in the programme.
