Sheikh Rashid, the head of Awami Muslim League, called on PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri yesterday in Toronto. Both leaders discussed matters of mutual interest including prevailing political situation in the country. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the rulers combining business with power have destroyed the country. PAT has accelerated the election campaign of its candidates who are taking part in the upcoming local bodies elections in Lahore. The provincial office holders of the party have been assigned duties in different union councils of the city. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din along with Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, and the PAT candidates for the office of chairman and deputy chairman, Ch. Naeem-ud-Din Advocate and Ch. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council, visited the residence of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani yesterday and expressed his condolences to him over the death of his nephew, Syed Asad Murtaza Gilani, who lost his life in stampede in Mina. PAT announces support for PTI in by-polls in NA-122 & PP-147

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf signed a four-point declaration to form a political alliance. The leaders of both parties have constituted a six member committee with three members from each party to work out a formula for seat adjustment in regard to upcoming local government polls and general elections. PAT Lahore takes out rally to pay tributes to martyrs of September 1965

PAT Lahore chapter organized a rally from the central secretariat to the martyrs’ monument at Batapur to pay tributes to the martyrs of 1965 war. A floral wreath was laid at the monument’s site on behalf of PAT Chairman Dr uhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Special prayers were made for the country’s progress, prosperity and peace.
