Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri condemns suicide attack on caravan of Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has condemned the suicide attack on the caravan of Mualana Fazal-ur-Rehman, the chief of JUI-F, in the strongest possible words and termed the attempt on politico-religious leader’s life as ‘cowardly’. He said that those who have carried out the attack are blot on the face of humanity and do not deserve to be called either humans or Muslims. Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, telephoned Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and conveyed him the special message of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. JUI-F chief appreciated the gesture of PAT’s President and thanked him for his good wishes.
Meanwhile, Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani said that the current wave of target killing is a danger for national solidarity and integrity. He said that without addressing the root causes of terrorism, this scourge cannot be eliminated. He asked the government to take guidance from the historic Fatwa authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and take steps for curing this cancer.
