Establishment of peace possible through teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW): Minhaj-ul-Quran International
A prestigious seminar entitled “Establishment of peace in the light of Seera
of the Holy Prophet (SAW) was held in the Danish hall of central secretariat of
Minhaj-ul-Quran International under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League.
G.M. Malik, naib Nazim-e-Ala of MQI, was the chief guest on the occasion. A unanimous
resolution adopted on the occasion said that there is no greater and more effective
constitution than the Seera of the Holy Prophet (SAW) for the establishment of peace.
The rulers of 56 Muslim states should give up looking for western solutions to their
problems and follow the Prophetic Seera as an ideal.
Speaking in the seminar, Raja Jamil Ajmal, Director of MQI’s Foreign Affairs,
said that a Jew who attended the company of the Holy Prophet (SAW) in his blessed
life did not remain deprived of the blessings and mercy. He said that there is a
need to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and strengthen our relations
with his holy personage to seek blessings in all the departments of life and overcome
challenges. This is how, he said, the entire world can become the hub of peace and
security. Raja Jamil Ajmal said that the existence of universe owes itself to the
Prophetic blessings. “MQI is spreading the awareness of seeking blessings from the
Holy Prophet (SAW) in the world. Today, the Muslim community in particular and humanity
at large need the values of respect, mercy, tolerance and moderation. When these
attitudes would take roots in the collective psyche, life would become hub of peace,”
he concluded.
G.M. Malik said in his remarks on the occasion that the best way of strengthening
relationship with the holy personage of the Beloved Prophet (SAW) is to send greetings
and salutations on him abundantly. He said that Durood sharif confers peace by eliminating
discord, violence and strife. “If we take a leaf from the blessed life of the Holy
Prophet (SAW), there is no reason why we cannot regain our lost respect, glory and
splendour in the world. He is the Prophet of mercy for all the worlds and it is
by acting upon his principles that humanity can attain durable peace,” he held.
Chaudhry Baber Ali, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, and Tayyab Zia also spoke on the occasion.
