The 5th anniversary of Model Town Massacre observed

Addressing the ceremony held to mark the fifth anniversary of Model Town tragedy, PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that we continue to stand where we were five years ago in our struggle for justice. He said that we took our case to the Supreme Court of Pakistan for the formation of the JIT for a fair investigation into the tragedy. Quran Khawani held for martyrs of Model Town at over 300 places

Quran khawani was arranged for the souls of the martyrs of Model town tragedy at more than 300 places across the country under the banner of PAT and MQI on the completion of five years of the Model Town massacre. These ceremonies were held to pay tributes to the men, women and youth who were martyred by Punjab police in the worst act of brutality committed in the broad daylight of June 17, 2014. In his special message on the International Labour Day, PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Allah Almighty has described the worker as His friend. He said that politics was played in the name of the rights of the labourers in every age but they could not get their due rights. He said that a labourer is a friend of Allah and the prosperity of the country lies in the prosperity of the worker. PAT proposes 14 points for Next Punjab Budget

Pakistan Awami Tehreek has sent 14 recommendations for Budget 2019-20 to Chief Minister Punjab and Finance Department. Workers demanding justice made prisoners: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

PAT leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the oppressive system has made the workers who protested against the killing of 14 innocent citizens in Model Town the prisoners. He said that he is grieved on the sentences given to 107 PAT workers on the charge of vandalism. Addressing the meeting of the PAT Federal Council, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the biggest hurdle in the way of justice in the Model Town case is that the killers are very powerful and wealthy. He said that after a hectic struggle over the last five years, the case continues to stand where it was on the day of its perpetration i.e. June 17, 2014. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri convenes meeting of Shura on April 5

The meeting of the PAT Shura has been scheduled on the 5th April. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will preside over the meeting. Addressing a consultative meeting at the central secretariat earlier today, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that we never took law in our hands during our struggle for justice. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri reaches Lahore, talks to media

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that it is the first impartial JIT formed in the wake of Model Town tragedy that questioned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, visited the crime scene and conducted the forensic tests of the bullets and arms used during the police brutality. He said that the last two JIT did not even record the statement of the injured. PAT Lahore arranged a special ceremony by the name of “Pakistan Day and our responsibilities” to mark the 23rd March. Addressing the ceremony, senior PTI leader Ijaz Chaudhry said that connecting the young generation with the basis of Pakistan and making them aware of our national ideology is the responsibility of the political and religious leaders.
