LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahir-ul-Qadri on Saturday called for anti-terrorism courts to be abolished. He was speaking to reporters at the party’s Model Town secretariat via video-link from Houston. Qadri said the courts should be replaced by military tribunals tasked with hearing terrorism cases and convicting suspects. LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek will hold protest rallies in 60 cities on Sunday against terrorism and to express solidarity with the families of Peshawar school victims. PAT President Dr Raheeq Abbasi announced this while chairing a meeting at the party head office on Friday. He said 40 committees to oversee the management of the protest rallies had been formed.
